We Promote Educational Programs
We are developing a school workshop titled "Love Where You Live: The Power of Not Littering", to raise awareness among New York City's younger generation about litter management, responsible consumption, and sustainable living. Our goal is to collaborate with schools to fully integrate environmental awareness into their curricula, helping students understand their role in creating a cleaner, more sustainable community.
We Collaborate With Businesses
We’re launching our eco-label, CleanerNYC, to encourage local businesses to adopt sustainable practices, including responsible waste disposal and the maintenance of clean storefronts. Through our eco-label, we also aim to implement joint cleanup initiatives and awareness campaigns, working together to foster a cleaner and more environmentally friendly community.
We Organize Community Cleanup Initiatives
We organize and participate in regular cleanup events in our neighborhood, encouraging friends, neighbors, and local organizations to join us. Additionally, we plan to place street signs throughout Park Slope to combat littering and promote cleanliness.
We Engage With Local Authorities
We communicate with local officials and entities to consistently advocate for improved waste management, increased street cleaning, and the enforcement of anti-littering laws, ensuring that our voices are heard.
